The Tulfarris House was built in 1760 on the ruins of Tulfarris Castle, the home of the early Irish Chieftains. Tulfarris is now an impressive 200 acre resort, which includes a luxury hotel, built to compliment the original house and an 18 hole championship golf course. Located only an hour from Dublin, this impressive resort is set amongst the beautiful terrain of the countryside. The Tulfarris Hotel is surrounded by stunning views of the Blessington lakes and Wicklow mountains a truly wonderful place to relax and unwind. The Tulfarris House exudes character, with 15 beautifully appointed guestrooms, each of which is unique in its design and d�cor. A spike bar located on the ground level of the house offers a fine selection of food, served all day long. The new hotel facility boasts a restaurant, its own bar and an additional 68 guest rooms. Two tennis courts and a walking trails form part of the extensive grounds. A qualified staff of leisure assistants is available to advise their guests. The nightly rate includes a full Irish breakfast. The hotel is closed January 1st thru March 18th,2005. During the months of November and December, fine dining will only be on the weekends in the Courtyard Restaurant & Bar located in the Manor House directly opposite the hotel. hotel.
