Strand Conference and Events at the Strand Palace Hotel is a large, multifunctional space comprising of eight well-equipped rooms. The rooms are medium in size and in good condition with dark wooden furniture, a warm colour scheme and cheerful blue and pink soft furnishings. The white and grey marble bathrooms are in very good condition. As this hotel is so large guests will find a floor plan when they exit the lifts to help them find their room.

From London Heathrow Airport: Approximate distance to the hotel is 22 miles (41 kilometres). Getting there. The Heathrow Express train and black taxis are available for transfer from the airport to the center of London. The London Underground's Piccadilly Line also serves all Heathrow terminals and takes passengers into central London. Getting around. The extensive London Underground system connects the hotel with the rest of central London. The Underground station closest to the hotel is Charing Cross. There is also a wide choice of buses. London charges congestion zone fees within clearly marked areas of city. Those who operate vehicles within these zones are assessed daily fees that apply Mondays through Fridays. The money saving Oyster Card is a smartcard that stores up to 90 pounds of pay as you go credit. It can be used on the Tubes, buses, DLR, trams and select national rail services throughout London. Oyster Cards are less expensive than single fares, and daily price capping automatically calculates the least expensive fare for single day journeys. Oyster Cards can be purchased at the Oyster website, most Tube station ticket offices, at Oyster Ticket Stops, at select National Rail ticket offices, at select London Travel Information Centres, and by telephone at 0845 330 9876.
