The hotel has been a Guest house for the past year and is due to gain it's 2* grade in September 2005. The reception is opened between 8.00-13.00 and 15.00-19.00, for arrivals outside these times it is strongly advisable to inform hotel beforehand. Guests can contact the hotel on the number: 0039 0583 469 630.A car park at special rates for San Frediano guests is available outside Lucca city walls, few minutes walk for the hotel. MS 03/06 Historical building dated 1600, built in the traditional style and materials of the time. The entrance to the hotel is a rather unassuming yet solid and imposing wooden door. In the heart of the historical centre of Lucca, San Frediano was originally an English style guest house, now 2* hotel full of character and ideal for the individual traveller.

The 6 rooms are spacious, simply but tastefully decorated, with cast iron beds and colourful drapery. Bathrooms vary in size and are modern and functional in style. Although simple, all bathrooms have been recently renovated with high standard finishing.

By train:The nearest railway station is Lucca. From there you can easily reach the guest house on foot or if you prefer with a short taxi ride.By car:you have to take Viale Europa - Viale Lazzaro Papi - Viale Carlo del Prete - Porta Santa Maria - Piazza Santa Maria - Via della Cavallerizza (pass beyond the Ostello per la Giovent�) - Piazza San Frediano - Via Cesare Battisti - Via degli Angeli, where there is the bed and breakfast at number 19.By plane:If you arrive at Pisa airport, we can arrange a pick up, on request at an extra charge, if you want. You can take the train to Lucca and from the railway station, you can easily reach the guest house on foot. If you prefer you can rent a car
