This is a delightful family run hotel with a great atmosphere and warm comfortable surroundings. A major refurbishment was completed in 2003 of bedrooms and the main gathering place, The Kiln Lounge. (KB 03/07) The original part of the Inn was built in the 17th century and was the Mill and Brewhouse for the people of the area. Additions over the last 20 years have included a conservatory, 14 bedrooms and additional restaurant. Ground floor throughout. Large car park with beer garden. Situated in the quiet village of Auldearn, Nairn. The hotel is just 20 minutes drive from Inverness, and just 5 minutes from Inverness Airport.

From Inverness Airport (INV): Distance to Covenanters Inn is 9 miles, approximately 10 minutes' drive. Getting there. Buses run from the airport to Inverness bus station, and departure times coincide with flight arrivals. Single tickets to the hotel cost 2.40 GBP. Auldearn bus stop is outside the hotel. Taxis to the hotel cost about 15 GBP. Nairn's train station is two miles away from the hotel. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. Hiring a car is recommended for exploring the Highlands. Driving directions. From the A96 signposted to Aberdeen and Nairn: Follow the A96 through Nairn. About one mile out of Nairn take a right turn to Auldearn. The Covenanters Inn is the first building on the right.

The Inn is located in the small country village of Auldearn, just 2 miles from Nairn between Inverness, capital of the Highlands, and the historic town of Elgin in Moray. Train There are regular daily trains from London and Glasgow/Edinburgh to Invern

RestaurantThe Covenanters is renowned for its variety of good food cooked using local produce. The Kiln Lounge Bar, situated in the 'mill section' of the building, offers an extensive menu. The Eren Restaurant provides a more formal dining atmosphere.
