Located in the historic bank building in the heart of downtown Salt Lake, Hotel Monaco invites guests to indulge in the guilty pleasures that make travel fun. This luxury hotel welcomes the guests with a dazzling "Living Room" lobby that offers the glamour and elegance of a circa 1940 Hollywood Hills home. Celebrated designer Cheryl Rowley has embraced the space with rich furnishings, including the popular "harem couch," which entices guests to relax, mingle and enjoy the eclectic decor's touches of humor, whimsy, and elegant, yet edgy style. The Living Room also provides an elegant setting for the Evening Manager Social, which can include a richly deserved chair massage. The 225 rooms and suites enliven guests' senses with plush robes, exclusive bath products and luxurious pillow top beds. Tall rooms, with eight-foot beds and raised showerheads, are available upon request. Hotel Monaco's Guppy Love program offers guests the pleasure of having a goldfish companion in their rooms for their stay. Hotel staff cares for the goldfish, leaving guests to simply enjoy their aquatic roommates. All guest rooms and suites are nonsmoking.At the Hotel Monaco Salt Lake City, pets are welcomed with a treat and supplied with food and water dishes to use during their stay. Walking services are available. Hotel Monaco-Salt Lake City also features Kimpton's Forgot It, We've Got It program, where we offer toiletry items that you may have left at home. Onsite dining is provided by the swanky Bambara Bistro serving a New American Bistro cuisine.
