This hotel on the coast of Amalfi, with private beach (on the rocks), has been created from a splendid coast house in a fertile, agricultural setting with century old olive trees stretching down to the Mediterranean. The transformation took place in the 50’s and today the hotel, called the Azure Shell(La Conca Azzurra) because of its position mirrored in the clear blue sea, is among the most picturesque 4 star accommodations on the Amalfitan coast, with spacious terraces on the sea, gardens, private lido, car park and lift up to the cliff top restaurant.In a wonderful panoramic position the “Conca Azzurra” hotel is situated in the Council of Conca dei Marini, an historic sea-farers village, lying on the sea just a few minutes from the centres of Amalfi, Positano and Ravello. Family management insures complete care in a charming and relaxing atmosphere. All the rooms, with spacious private loggia or panoramic veranda, enjoy a magnificient view of the coast as far as the isle of Capri, and are tastefully furnished with spacious bathrooms fitted with showers or hydro massage baths.The private lido, on the suitably adapted rocks, can be reached via a path immersed in the Mediterranean vegetation, where, in summer it is possible to bathe in crystalline water and enjoy an atmosphere of peace and quiet.The Conca Azzura’s two restaurants are characterized by a highly appreciated culinary tradition, mainly local which follows the seasons.All the seafood and Lattari mountain specialities are available. It is the ideal surrounding to celebrate wedding receptions, anniversaries and festivities of all kinds.
