South Seas Island Resort is a 330-acre full service destination resort on tropical Captiva Island in Southwest Florida. South Seas combines a natural wonderland with modern resort amenities and accommodations. Offering many styles and sizes of accommodations including guestrooms, one to three bedroom villas, and spacious private homes, the Resort is well suited for all sized parties. The Harbourside Bar and Grille nestled at the north end of the resort and overlooking the Yacht Harbour, offers a menu with tempting choices and delectable deserts. At the Pointe, lighter dining options and exciting cocktails are available, along with breathtaking views of the Pine Island Sound and natures watercolors at sunset. For a taste of old-fashioned fun, visit Scoops & Slices, located next to The Pointe, for ice cream or coal fired pizza. On the resorts south end, other options included Starbucks and The Captiva Provision Company, a new gourmet and deli is stocked with the finest imported gourmet offerings and a unique variety of prepared salads, soups and entrees.For your convenience a Resort Fee of $12.50 ($13.88 including tax) per day, per adult (an adult is 17 years of age and older), will be collected upon check out. Three Bdrm Beach Villa:Perfect for larger families or parties, the 3 Bedroom Beach Villas offer superior accommodations and vistas with views of the Gulf of Mexico and the sugar sand beaches. Situated at the South end of the Resort, these spacious Villas are walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the tennis courts. All on the top floor, unique features like a rod iron spiral staircase leading to a 2nd floor loft bedroom with sitting area that overlooks the living room. Also on the first floor are master and second bedroom, dining area, full kitchen and two baths. Enjoy 1500 square feet of vacation dream home style living space and an expansive beach that is just steps away. Great for longer stays, coin laundry facilities are available on the ground floor of each building. Savor the fresh air at dedicated pools that are also equipped with gas grills. The Beach Villas accommodate up to eight guests. Pratt Parkway Drive 4.5 miles to Summerlin Road Take the left exit ramp onto FL 869 (Summerlin Road) Stay on Summerlin Road for 8 miles The road will end at the Sanibel Captiva Island Causeway toll booth Pay the $6.00 toll and cross the 3 mile causeway onto Sanibel Island At the four way stop yield right onto Periwinkle Way Continue 2.5 miles and turn right onto Palm Ridge Road Continue 0.5 miles to the four way stop Go straight through stop sign onto Sanibel Captiva Drive Stay on Sanibel Captiva Road for 7 miles Cross Blind Pass Bridge onto Captiva Island (the road becomes Captiva Drive) Continue on Captiva Drive for 3.5 miles through the village center to the entrance of South Seas Resort which will be on your right.
