From Mauritius Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU): Distance to The Oberoi Mauritius is 40 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive. Getting there. Guests can arrange to be picked up from the airport in the hotel limousine for a surcharge. Getting around. Buses are available throughout Mauritius. Metered taxis are available, and have black and white registration plates. Bicycles are popular for exploring the area. A car is recommended for visiting the less touristy parts of the island.
