This full-service resort with its friendly staff has the highest number of repeat guests in the city.Playa Mazatlan features Colonial-style architecture with rustic Mexican decor, surrounded by lush gardens, pools and waterfalls. Its richly decorated guestrooms overlook the Pacific Ocean and three offshore islands, or the lush tropical gardens filled with bugambilias and hibiscus. Adding to the elements of charm, the accommodations are comfortable and brightly decorated with an assortment of room options to suit everyone's tastes and needs.Relax under one of the beachfront palapas, take a dip in one of the three swimming pools, unwind in one of two Jacuzzis, or go to the extreme on one of the rock climbing walls or zip-line. In addition to traditional spa services, the Playa Mazatlan offers a pre-Hispanic spa featuring a temazcal (an igloo-shaped room where you are seated around red-hot lava rocks) and cenote (cave pool), located right here on the property. For evening entertainment, Happy Hour is from 4-6 p.m. daily and there is live music for dancing every night.
