From Klagenfurt Airport (KLU): Distance to Blue Mountain Hotel is 40 kilometres, approximately 40 minutes' drive. Getting there. Buses depart from the airport and run to the main train station in Klagenfurt every 30 minutes between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Trains then run regularly from Klagenfurt to Villach. From Villach bus and train station, bus no. 5150 runs hourly to Afritz am See. Alight at the Verditz Bergbahnen, and take the chair lift to lift station 3. The chair lift is available in the winter and summer seasons from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. The Blue Mountain Hotel is 150 metres down from the lift. Transfers or hire cars are available. Taxis are also available at the airport and cost 60 EUR to the hotel. Price is subject to change. Getting around. The area is easy to explore on foot Driving directions. Depart Klagenfurt Airport. Take the A2 towards Villach. Then take the A10 in the direction of Villach and Salzburg. Exit the motorway for Villach Osslacher See. Turn right off the exit road, following the signs for Osslacher See until the roundabout with Lidl and Hofer on the right hand side. Take the A98 in the direction of Gerlitzen, Verditz, Radenthein, and/or Spital to Afritz. At Afritz turn left at the Verditz signpost. The Blue Mountain Hotel is 6 kilometres along the mountain between lift stations 2 and 3.
