Palms and pastels surround you with an understated theme (at least by Disney standards) at this beautiful resort, architecturally mirroring Key West at the turn of the 20th century. It's a good choice for those in search of a degree of separation from all the action. Located between Epcot and Downtown Disney West Side, it offers some of the quietest, homiest rooms on WDW property. Old Key West is affiliated with the Disney Vacation Club -- a timeshare program -- but many units are rented when not being used by owners. The 156-acre complex sports 56 buildings on tree-lined brick walkways edged by white picket fences. Two-bedroom villas have enough beds for eight; grand villas (2,202 sq. ft.) sleep 12. Villas have whirlpool tubs. All of the accommodations sport balconies or patios, and all have kitchens or kitchenettes. Tip: This resort is very spread out and bus service can be sporadic, so a car is highly recommended if you choose to stay here.
