Jazz on Lenox Hostel is one of our newer hostels, built into a classic Victorian-style brownstone that has been fully renovated for your comfort. Surrounded by the rich heritage of Upper Manhattan, home to great entertainment venues such as the world famous Apollo Theatre, The Lenox Lounge, and the world-renowned Cotton Club. You will also find Harlem holds some of the most intriguing educational Landmarks full of the magnificent Harlem culture, like Columbia University, The Studio Museum, The Duke Ellington Statue & the Malcolm Shabazz Market.Come make your stay an enjoyable one on Lenox.Jazz on Lenox Hostel offers a range of rooms, from 4 � 12 bedded dorms to twin and double private rooms. The hostel has a separate Luggage Room located in the patio where we hold BBQ's in the summer; a Lounge w/ a Plasma Screen TV, free WiFi, Snack Machines plus a newly renovated kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee pot and stove/oven for our guests' disposal; a Lockers & Safety Deposit Boxes that can be rented for secure all your valuables; 24-hour Reception to help answer all your questions as best as possible by our friendly multi-lingual staff to help make your stay ENJOYABLE!PLEASE NOTE: Taxes are not included in the rates shown, and will apply upon check-in.***14 days is our maximum stay at ALL Jazz Hostels***You must be 18 years of age to check in, if under, you must be accompanied by an adult and have a consent stating your guardians are aware of where you are staying.***Cancellations or changes must be notified to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance via phone or email. From JFK Airport:1) Take the Airtrain ($5 USD) from the airport.2) Take the 'A' train going Uptown to Manhattan.3) Transfer from the 'A' train to the #2 or #3 Train at the Fulton Street / Broadway Nassau.4) Take the #2 /#3' train (going Uptown) to 125th Street.5) From 125th Street, walk NORTH to 128th Street.6) Turn LEFT on 128th Street. From La Guardia Airport:1) Take the M60 bus to 125th Street and Lenox Avenue2) Walk to the near corner and make a left.3)Walk NORTH to 128th Street & make a left.The hostel is on the left side.From Newark Airport:2 options:(A) NJ Transit Bus1) If you are arriving on Terminal A, B or C, take the $10-13 USD Bus. If you are arriving on the North Terminal take the $9 USD NJ Transit Bus to 2 or 3 train2) Take the 2 or 3 train, get off at 125th Street Station.3) From 125th Street, walk NORTH to 128th Street.4) Turn LEFT onto 128th Street. The hostel will be on your left.
