Today we did the big drive back down to England and decided to stop in at the Lake District for the night. A really gorgeous place, similar to Lake Taupo but with really old slate buildings. It was nice to go somewhere a little cooler this time. We checked into the hostel there and were told we couldn't use the main house as it was booked out by a school trip. Which was cool as we were pretty buggered from the big drive down anyway. We walked to the village and bought some essentials from the co-op. Bread only cost 54p! So for dinner that night I had lasagne and peanut butter sandwiches again. Not a very eventful night here again, man we sound a bit like Nannas, but we haven't even had any other young people staying in our room, just a 62 year old lady from the states doing a hiking trip around England.
Had an early night, poor Caro is suffering from a cold and I think I may have given it to her as I had it just before we left NZ.
