Granada was good. Very pretty and chilled out. Didn't get up to anything energetic there although I would have liked to climb one of the volcanoes that is nearby. Went out on Fri night (11th) with the group that I travelled here with and got merry.
Did absolutely NOTHING on Saturday and we all sat around chatting all day. My most active activity was walking to and back from the launderette. Played Trivial Pursuit at night. On Sunday (13th), I finally got into gear and walked around town to the sights and then to the lake. Very pretty. Went to the art museum but it was closed. Later on, I checked out of the hostel and headed on my way to Isla de Ometepe with Philipp (a German guy that I travelled from Leon with).

Just got to Granada earlier this afternoon with a group of travellers that I met in Leon. The place looks very pretty. Had my worst ever lunch here though!!! Again, there are many travellers here and I keep meeting people that I have met previously in other places. It is hard to get in touch with the 'real' people of this city since there are so many tourists and they all hang in the same places......I guess I needed that though....since I have been chilling with alot of locals over the past few weeks.....it's a good change. I know, however, that I won't be able to do this for long, as I will want the 'authentic' latin american experience again soon!! Planning on staying here till Monday, and making my way down to Isla de Ometepe in Lake Nicaragua then. Will write more when I have done more stuff here.
