The woman who owned the bnb I was staying in Glasnevin suggested we check out the Porterhouse as a good place to get something to eat and drink. It was about a five minute walk from my bnb.

Well it turns out the Porterhouse is not only a pub/restaurant but is also a microbrewery! Awesome Choice! The place is huge, there’s like 3 or 4 floors and they have beers from all over the world! :)

We ordered a Buffalo-Chicken pizza, which took quite a while but was really good, and we selected a 7% alcohol amber-ale beer called “An Brain Blásta”. Our waitress warned us that no one should drink more than 2 pints of it in a day.

If you ever get there try the “An Brain Blásta”, the Porterhouse brews it and its very tasty for an ale, it'll also put you on your ass. I also liked the Temple Brau beer.

Its a nice pub with live music and djs, pub grub and tons of beer. The service was a bit slow when I was there.
