An Evening in Gent

A sneak peek inside the castle when we crashed the party...

Well Tom Beck a good friend and co-worker of mine was in town for business and was staying in the Belgium town of Gent.  So Maureen and I wen to meet up with him and go out to dinner.  After fiding his hotel with a little bit of trouble we opted to take a taxi to the center of town near the Gent Castle.  We walked around the old city city and I passed on what I could remember from our last visit with Patrick.  

I didn't do very well but we had a good time anyway.  We crashed a company party that had rented out the castle; so we slipped in and milled around looking at the inside of the castle.  We decided to leave before they noticed that we did not have name tags nor were we speaking dutch or french.  We found an excellent Mexcian restaurant near the castle that we all enjoyed. We were only there for an evening but this city is awesome and we plan on visiting a lot.
