The highway (number 132) around the Gaspe was fantastic. I was surprised at the number of hills. At times one is well above sea level and other times at sea level.
The weather, while windy, was perfect. The photos (to come later) shows a motorcyclist from the USA, but orginally from PEI swimming in a creek that flows into the Saint Lawrence.
Where I stopped, there were four motorcycles and all were beemers. As I travelled to Eastern Canada I saw far less Harleys and more of the other models. In the Dakotas, Minnesota, around the Great Lakes, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine there were about 70% Harley's, 15% Goldwings (often with trailers), 5% BMW's and 10% of the others. Not so in Eastern Canada. More like 20% Harley's, 20% Beemers, 20% Goldwings and 40% a mixture of the others.
