    Getting There -- Klamath Falls is on U.S. 97, which leads north to Bend and south to I-5 near Mount Shasta in California. The city is also connected to Ashland by the winding Ore. 66 and to Medford by Ore. 140, which continues east to Lakeview in eastern Oregon. The Klamath Falls Airport, 6775 Arnold Ave. (tel. 541/883-5372; www.klamathfallsairport.com), is served by Horizon Air from Portland. Amtrak's Coast Starlight trains stop here en route between San Francisco and Portland.
