By Bus -- Ten buses a day arrive from Füssen.
By Car -- Head east from Füssen along the B17.

Information about the region and the castles is available at the Kurverwaltung, Kaiser-Maximilian-Platz 1, Füssen (tel. 08362/93850). Hours vary but are usually Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6:30pm and Saturday 9am to 2:30pm in summer; in winter, hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to noon. Information is also available at the Kurverwaltung, Rathaus, Münchenerstrasse 2, Schwangau (tel. 08362/938523), open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturday from 10am to 1pm.
