    Getting There

    By Train -- Visitors from Frankfurt usually opt to take the S-5 train, which runs from Frankfurt's main railway station to Bad Homburg for a cost of 5€ ($6.50) each way. The trip takes about 20 minutes. Call tel. 01805/996633 for information.

    By Car -- Access by car from the north or south is via the A5 Autobahn, exiting at Bad Homburg.

    For information, go to the Verkehrsamt im Kurhaus, Louisenstrasse 58 (tel. 06172/178110; www.bad-homburg.de). It's open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6:30pm and Saturday 10am to 2pm.

    Getting Around

    Public transport in Bad Homburg is provided by a network of green-and-white buses, with main junction points that are the Hauptbahnhof, a 10-minute walk southwest of the city center, and in front of the Kurhaus, in the city center. Buses, which run daily 4:30am to midnight, charge 2€ ($2.60) per ride.
