Getting There -- From Paris's Gare Montparnasse, trains run directly to Chartres, taking less than an hour. Tickets cost 25€ ($33) round-trip. Call tel. 08-92-35-35-35. If driving, take A10/A11 southwest from the périphérique and follow signs to Le Mans and Chartres. (The Chartres exit is clearly marked.)
