    Getting There

Leeds Bradford International Airport (tel. 01132/509696; www.lbia.co.uk) is located about 16km (10 miles) from Bradford, and a number of scheduled flights connect it to London's Heathrow and Gatwick airports and most major regional U.K. airports. A taxi from the airport to town costs about £10 ($19), and Bradford is reached by car via the M62 and the M606.

Most rail links go through nearby Leeds , but at least one direct train each day connects London's Kings Cross Station with Bradford (a 3-hr. trip). Train travel from Manchester takes about 1 hour; 3 hours from Birmingham.
