There are daily fast InterCity trains from Bucharest to Pitesti; from there, change for one of six connections to Curtea de Arges. State buses and maxitaxis connect Bucharest and Curtea de Arges more directly, if you're up for a bumpy ride. The town has been generously signposted, so it's easy to get to the sights. Posada Tourism Agency (tel. 0248/72-1109 or 0248/72-1451/2) in the Posada Hotel is your best bet for local information and for accommodations bookings.
