    Getting There

    By Train -- Trains run hourly between Copenhagen and Randers. There are frequent rail links with Aalborg and Ã…rhus.

    By Bus -- Bus no. 118 runs between Ã…rhus and Randers (trip time: 50 min.); tickets can be purchased once you board.

    By Car -- Head north from Ã…rhus along the E45.

    Visitor Information

    Randers Turistbureau, Erhvervenes Hus, Tørvebryggen 12 (tel. 86-42-44-77; www.visitranders.com), is open June 16 to August 31, Monday through Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 3pm. September to March, hours are Monday to Friday 9:30am to 4:30pm and Saturday 9am to noon. April 1 to June 15, hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to noon.

    Getting Around

    By Bicycle -- Bike rentals are available at Jørgen Schmidt Cykler, Kirkegade 7 (tel. 86-41-29-03). The cost is 60DKK ($10) per day, plus a deposit of 300DKK ($50). Hours are Monday through Friday 9:30am to 5:30pm, Saturday 9:30am to 2pm.
