It has available very good information, including a comprehensive visitors' booklet, Brussels Guide & Map. It also makes hotel reservations, organizes paid-for guided walking tours in summer, and has well-trained, multilingual tour guides whom you can engage by the hour or day. The office is open in summer daily from 9am to 6pm, and in winter Monday to Saturday from 9am to 6pm, and Sunday from 10am to 2pm.
Also in Brussels is the Belgian Tourist Information Center, rue du Marché-aux-Herbes 63, 1000 Bruxelles (tel. 02/504-03-90; fax 02/513-04-75; www.visitflanders.com; Métro: Gare Centrale), which covers the entire country. Its Flemish section covers Brussels and the Dutch-speaking region of Flanders. The office is open April to October, Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm, and weekends and holidays from 9am to 1pm and 2 to 6pm; November to March, Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm, Saturday from 9am to 1pm and 2 to 6pm, and Sunday from 9am to 1pm.
