Getting There -- The buses described in the Lech section stop in Zürs about 10 minutes before their scheduled arrival in Lech. Likewise, if you're driving, follow the same directions for Zürs as for Lech. Zürs is 90km (56 miles) southeast of Bregenz, 34km (21 miles) east of Bludenz, and 43km (27 miles) west of Landeck in Tyrol. If you're arriving at the Zurich airport, as many do, Zürs is 240km (149 miles) east. Many of the hotels offer shuttle bus service from the airport to Zürs.
The nearest railway station is in the town of Langen, 14km (9 miles) away. It receives six or seven direct trains a day from Innsbruck (trip time: 1 hr., 20 min.). For rail information, contact tel. 05/1717 (www.oebb.at). From Langen, yellow postal buses and taxis make frequent runs to and from Zürs.
Visitor Information -- The tourist office (tel. 05583/2245) is in the town center. It's open Monday through Saturday from 9am to 6:30pm.
