Getting There
St. Anton is an express stop on the main rail lines crossing over the Arlberg Pass between Innsbruck and Bregenz. Just to the west of St. Anton, trains disappear into the Arlberg tunnel, emerging almost 11km (7 miles) later on the opposite side of the mountain range. About one train per hour arrives in St. Anton from Innsbruck (trip time: 75-85 min.) and from Bregenz (trip time: 85 min.). For rail information, contact tel. 05/1717 (www.oebb.at).
Because of St. Anton's good rail connections to eastern and western Austria, most visitors arrive by train. From the city, however, many travelers take the bus on to other resorts such as Zürs and Lech.
St. Anton is 599km (372 miles) west of Vienna and 100km (62 miles) west of Innsbruck. If you're driving from Innsbruck, take Route 171 west.

The tourist office in the Arlberghaus lies in the town center (tel. 05446/2269; www.stantonamarlberg.com). In winter, hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 7pm, Saturday 9am to 6pm, and Sunday 9am to noon and 2 to 5pm. In summer, hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am to noon.
