Getting There
A streetcar from the Berg Isel station in Innsbruck will deliver you to Igls, 305m (1,001 ft.) higher than the capital, in about 30 minutes. Bus J leaves on the hour and the half-hour from the Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof. Tram no. 6 leaves Innsbruck at a quarter past each hour, and it leaves Igls at a quarter to each hour. Visitor Information
The Igls tourist office is on Hilberstrasse 15 (tel. 0512/377101; www.tiscover.com/igls). It's open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6pm. It is open on Saturday 9am to noon Christmas to Easter and May to September.
