    Banks & Currency Exchange -- Most hotels change currency in Hue. Vietcombank is at 78 Hung Vuong St. (tel. 054/846-058). Vietinde, the foreign-exchange bank, has an office at 41 Hung Vuong St. (on the roundabout at the terminus of the main tourist drag); a Western Union representative, it can provide cash advances. There's also an INCOMBank ATM on your left when you exit the airport.

    Internet -- Sinh Café, at 07 Nguyen Tri Phuong, has good service for 10,000 VND (65¢/£0.35) per hour, and there are many good spots on Hung Vuong (the main tourist street south of the river), Pham Ngu Lao Street (just across from the Century Riverside), and on Doi Cung Street.

    Post Office -- There are mini-post offices in both the Century and Huong Giang hotels. The main post office is at 8 Hoang Hoa Tham St. It's open from 7am to 9pm.

    Telephone -- The city code for Hue is 54. You can place international calls at the post office and from most hotels.
