Supershuttle (+1 800 258 3826/ http://www.supershuttle.com) is an on-call van service providing transportation to Sacramento and neighboring counties. Pick-up areas are located near the baggage claim in Terminal A and at the center island curb at Terminal B.

By Train

The Amtrak Passenger Depot (+1 800 872 7245/ http://www.amtrak.com), located at 401 I Street, has 22 trains that connect Sacramento with San Francisco and Oakland on weekdays. Sacramento serves 500 cities nationally including direct routes from Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Reno, Denver and Chicago. From the depot, Sacramento's Regional Transit (+1 916 321 2877/ http://www.sacrt.com) runs light rail trains that can ferry you to points all around the city - and beyond.

By Bus

Greyhound (+1 800 231 2222/ http://www.greyhound.com) accesses Sacramento daily from two stops. The downtown bus station (+1 916 444 6858), located at 715 L Street, is open 24 hours daily. The other station (+1 916 922 2795), located in Sacramento Ne at 1924 El Camino Avenue, is open M-F 4:30a-9p and Sa-Su 7:30a-9p.

By Car

Approach Sacramento by Interstate 80 from the east and west, Interstate 5 from the northwest and Interstate 99 from the north and south.

Public Transit

The Sacramento Regional Transit District (+1 916 321 2877/ http://www.sacrt.com) provides daily bus and light rail service. Buses run 5a-11:30p every 15 to 60 minutes. Light rail trains operate 4:30a-1a every 15 minutes during the day and 30 minutes during the evening.

Yolobus (+1 530 666 2877/ http://yolobus.com) operates daily in and out of Sacramento and its surrounding neighbor cities in all of Yolo County including Davis, Winters, Woodland and Madison.
