Dining and Drinking:

Tallinn is a diverse city. Its Nordic maritime location doesn't make it an all-seafood spot cuisine-wise. Historically important location made the city absorb any of the incoming trader's culture, resulting in a wide variety of cuisines presented today.

For traditional medieval cuisine visit the Old Town. There are a number of restaurants, cafes, bars, breweries and wineries around the old part of Tallinn. Some recommendations are Eesti Maja, Kuldse Notsu Kõrts, and Le Château.

For Italian food and pizza visit Bocca, Controvento, Americana, and Tiina Pizza. Some other pizzerias can be found in the malls around Tallinn.

The Soviet times have passed, but the influence remained, there are a couple of places themed in Russian style. Moskva restaurant and nightclub is the main attraction.

The more trendy and rather odd for their location are the Asian restaurants. These include Cafe VS, Golden Dragon, Mandarin, Villa Thai, and Wok Wok. All offer diverse Asian cuisine and great atmospheres.

The lovers of American cuisine won't be disappointed either. Texas Honky Tonk & Cantina brings Texas straight to Estonia. Cantina Carramba is the place for unique Mexican experience with real drinks from Central America and outstanding interior design.2008-08-02T07:29:22.000 688

Busy Steet, Old Town Panorama of Old Town. Pretty shot of the city. There's a modern area...but I didn't bother...I was so charmed by the old part. View of the Market Square from Town Hall Tower
