New Zealand the adventure country of the world and for some reason I had promised to throw myself out of a plane. When we arrived in Franz Josef we booked ourselves in for a skydive over the glaciers. I hoped that the amazing views would take my mind off being 12,000feet in the air! The morning of the skydive the clouds push the dive back, giving me more time to panic. I don’t think I had ever been so nervous and just getting in the tiny little plane was a big enough challenge. Suddenly Hannah had fallen out of the door and it was my turn. Within seconds I was hanging out of the plane and giving a thumbs up to the camera. One, two, three…45 seconds of freefall through the clouds and then the parachute opened. My tandem partner took great delight in spinning all the way to the ground and apparently I screamed the whole way down. They heard me from the ground as soon as I left the plane! When I landed I was buzzing, the most exhilarating experience which I believed could never be topped…I didn’t know what Queenstown would offer.
