Aren't friends just the best..
While I discussed with my Texan friend the lack of Gluten free bread she decided to take me to a shop that "must surely have some".
Now Gluten free bread in the UK is a little on the dry and tasteless side, they basically make it Gluten, Dairy and Egg free, a one stop place for all your main allergies on one hit, this means the shop brought bread needs to be heated up to taste ok.
Wholefoods Market - yum yum yum, they do a range of Gluten free bread that I have fallen in love with, it only caters for those with Gluten allergies, and the one I have chosen to eat is almost dough like it is so moist, but boy is it good to eat.
In fact, if they sold it in the UK I would become very lazy about cooking my own bread..
So to Katze, I want to say a big thanks for introducing me to great bread in the US that I can eat... its the simple things that make a day.
