Abe is gone

We took Abe to Fort Portal today to catch the bus to Kampala. His flight leaves tonight at 10:30. It rained all last night and stopped in the morning but we had to deal with rerouted traffic because they are working on the road. It feels really weird to be completely on our own. After we dropped him off, we ran some errands and came back. I was supposed to drop Kate off but it was raining again and we didn’t feel safe letting ride a boda-boda back to the station. We took her all the way back and Erimosi and I had lunch and attempted to go back out. The road we needed to go on to go to our scheduled interviews was just redone and really soft. We got part way and realized that it wasn’t going to happen. I had to four-wheel drive out of there. It was not fun. It’s not supposed to rain like this. Anywhere we went wasn’t going to be good. We decided to try again tomorrow. Now I’m going to try to start moving our things over and create some order to this mess.
