Happy hour at Gino's Italian restaurant - a few wines kicked back and you get this entry !) Today was pretty much a travel day and I realize we have a day or so of blogging to do from the badlands to where we are now... Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Before I enthrall you with my fabulous story telling of the last day or so, I have to tell you a story I find absolutely hilarious. As we pulled into our KOA tonight, I noticed that there was a Pillow trampoline. Of course I had to give it a try. I waited until no kids were around and ran for it, jumping and giggling like a school girl. This must have attracted some kiddies because all of a sudden I was surrounded. I played with them for a bit then let Craig take a break from the camera and give the trampoline a try. Let's just say Craig didn't enjoy himself. He got off quickly and I rejoined my new little friends. A boy, the age of about 6 years old asked me if Craig was a good jumper. I replied (in what I thought was a low voice) no, he's afraid... "OH!" said the boy in a disapointing voice. My apparent "whisper" was overheard by Craig and I'm still getting crap from him. I wonder if he'll run into the little boys in the bathroom and they'll make fun of him for being afraid of the pillow trampoline...hahahhahah! I'm killing myself... hahhahahh!
Ok. so yesterday we got up in crazy hot weather (and it was only 7:30) and drove to the meeting spot for the minute man missile silo. This was the control pad for nuclear weapons during the cold war. Very interesting but doesn't even come close to the coolness of The Deifenbunker in Ottawa (go see it if you haven't already). We drove to Minnisota afterwards and played 9 holes before we called it a day. So this part wasn't all that interesting. I invite you to read the part where I tell the 6 year old Craig is afraid of the pillow trampoline. .hahhahahhahahh!
