Florence to Rome

We met at like 7:30 to go walk to the Accademia to see the David. We met Steph, Anthony, and kendall to see it. We had to walk pretty fast but by the time we got there we only had to stand in line like 20 minutes. They were really funny about pictures and the rebels we are snuck a few anyways.. I was not about to go see David and not have proof. After we walked down to the Dome and we were going to go inside but decided to climb the tower instead so that we could see views of the whole city plus really good ones of the dome. It was funny we saw our group doing the guided tour when we were on top of the tower. We sat down and ate at a cafeteria.. not the same thing in Italy.. .anywasys that was pretty good, we got some gelato then we went to the bridge and walked across and took pictures. Then we had to go back to our bus to leave. I really liked Florence.. so far it has been one of my favorite cities just because it really reminds me of how Italy has been portrayed in my eyes all these years. We left two girls on our tour behind cuz they didn’t make it to the bus on time, then we made our way to Rome. We went straight into a guided tour of the city starting at the Spanish steps. Then Missy and I drank water from this famous fountain that supposibly this water and the water in a Vatican fountain are the only two good enough to drink. So we will have to see if I get sick! Then we saw the Trevi Fountain which I ABSOLUTELY thought was amazing! We threw coins over our shoulders and took lots of pictures, Then we went to the Pantheon which was pretty sweet it is like a dome inside with a center of it fee to light. Outside it has columns. After we went by the Roman Forum and up to the Colloseum, my camera went crazy and I ended up calling my dad.. I think it is okay we think a whole battery pack was a little crazy. At that point we went back to our hotel and finally we were able to check in but we ate dinner right away before checking in because it was like 10 pm… then we went to our room and took showers and went to bed.
