So, my husband turned to Craig's List and responded to a woman renting her apartment on the Upper East Side for $134.00/night. We went for it. And we were glad!</p><p>Yes, it was a very, VERY tiny studio apartment. There is no turn down service-no mint on the pillow--no spa or luxurious amenities. There is the aspect of being in someone's home--sleeping in their bed, glancing at the CD's and books stacked on a wall of shelves.
