Malta journal: Our Maltese Experience

No actually we had the real Malta Experience... The place is really pretty cool- when it's not raining cats and dogs. Our last day in malta we spent on the Island of Gozo which I thought was amazing, we wanted to get some sun time on the beach the whole time but we hit it really bad w/ the worst storm they've seen in what appeared to be a decade:( I probably wouldn't go back since there is so many other places I want to visit but if your around there and the weather is nice, check it out.

Brussels journal: Belgium or bust baby....

This is not the place to go if your on a diet by any means... the Belgium waffles are incredible and I can't even start talking about the chocolates! Another thing I never new is this is where French Fries are from, and man are they good. Still not sure why they are called French fries not being from France, I'm going to rename them Belgium Fries;)

Andorra la Vella journal: Hot Springs or else....

This was a great escape from all the stress of planning our trip on a day to day basis, it was a great deal too, only 35 Euro for 3 hours of hot spring usage. Just relax and be sure to check out the Turkish Bath room, and the hot and cold foot bath room, those were my favorite.

Barcelona journal: Viva la Espana!

This was a great way to see Barcelona in a day since all the big things to see are kinda spread out and it's easy to jump off, stay as long as you like and jump back on to see the next cool thing:) My favorite was Guadi's Sagred De Familia, def go up to the top, even though you might get a little vertigo on the walk back down... it was a weird rush of being soooo high up in such a small narrow space.

New York journal: It was a grand week.. a Soho Grand week that is:)

This was an incredible hotel, when you check in they welcome you with a glass of Champaigne and a warm smile. I really liked the wallpaper in the bathroom and of course the bed- the most comfy I've ever slept in and the pillows which are 100% goose down. You can purchase these through the front desk and they are only $75.00 per pillow plus they will even ship them to your home! Ok, it's expensive and I didn't do it but really want one of these, or 2 of them one day. Apparently they are not easy to come by in the stores. Although it's quite pricey, thank god I was there w/ work or I'd be in ...

Eldora journal: Spring fun in the park!

I'd never heard of Eldora before which is close to Boulder County in CO. I had a lot of fun. In my opinion it was the perfect way to spend my last day of the season on the mtn w/ someone who loves snowboarding as much as I do. It was uncrowded, the park was a lot of fun w/ perfect size jumps and even some stuff I'd never seen before but wasn't about to attempt! Check it out you won't be dissapointed. No lines too, that is always a plus:)

Cheyenne journal: Sweet home Cheyenne

I never thought I'd be going to Cheyenne, Wyoming, until a recent trip to Colorado. I ended up staying there w/ my good friend Becca. Her boyfriend Bobby and his friend Shawn live on this airforce base in Cheyenne. It was really cool. I think I liked it so much bc it's so different from I'm used to here in California. I saw buffalo, antelope, tons of squirrels. I love animals and beautiful landscapes. I get excited by the little things in life i know it's silly, but if we pass by the little things then we miss sooo much. I don't know if I'll ever get to go back to Cheyenne, but at least now I ...

Park City journal: Best powder on earth!

My recent trip to Park City Utah was a lot of fun, I went w/ my boyfriend Jason and a bunch of his friends. We stayed slopeside, it was really nice to have a place to ski in and out of and the jacuzzi was a great way to end the days after boarding. We had a blast:) My favorite thing was the Terrain park, I think it was called Shovels and Jibs. I definately recommend Park City as a place to ride, even though lift tickets are a little pricey, about $72 for an adult day pass, it's a big mountain and open till 7 pm, plus the powder they can get here, incredible. :)

Arica journal: Vive Chile!

This is a really cool town and I can't wait to go back to Chile one day and see more of it. It is really hot here, so all we did was pretty much go to the beach and pool in our hostel and relax. It is right on the edge of a huge desert, so it's like Arizona weather, but you have an ocean that is extremely necesary. Things to do in Arica, Hike up to the El Christo Statue for some amazing views, Try the Gelato, it's incredible here, and go for a giant beer at Shaupe Dogg, it's a real deal and a great spot to hang out w/ friends and meet other travelers like yourself, or not really...

Manuel Antonio National Park journal: It's good....

This is a cool restuarant w/ an awesome view for watching the sunset, great food and drinks. Get the Shrimp margeritta, it's good, and it's not a drink but a shrimp cocktail served in a margeritta glass. Everything is really good. Whatever you do if your going to go to El Avion, don't get anything to eat, it's pretty bad and overpriced. The drinks are good though so maybe just go for a couple of those, the atmosphere is cool w/ a giant plane that is used for the bar which crashed during Nixon's reign in Nicaragua... and was brought to Costa Rica and turned into a restaurant. Inside there is a restaraunt w/ gigantic aquarium with a colosal manta rays and tons of other larger than life fish....

Baby Beach is a cool mellow little beach on the island of Aruba, you can litterally walk about a mile out and still be in knee deep water. Hence where they got the name, it's safe for the little ones where most of the waters off the coast are pretty rough especially on the north side of the island where swimming is prohibited and wind surfing is a favorite pastime but not to be tried unless your good, I mean really good. Other cool things to see are the mining ruins and the natural bridge on the north shore and the California Lighthouse. We rented a golf cart and we drove around and checked out all the old colonial streets, shops, restaraunts. Took lots of pictures and walked and walked some more. The food was really good and the ice cream incredible. MMMM At the end of the day there was only one thing to do.. relax some more and take a coffee on the cobblestone streets of Colonia.
