A great location and a fun, lively atmosphere make this place a popular choice. Its name is derived from the Czech novel, The Good Soldier Szwejk and the loveable, pudgy soldier features heavily in the decor. It consists of simple tables and chairs in dark wood. An electric train travels around on tracks above your head and overall, the atmosphere is conducive to unwinding and having fun. This makes a good place to go for a first date. An interesting and creative selection of international favorites is on offer here. There is everything from french fries to grilled meat dishes as well as some good salads. The bread is also tasty. The well-stocked bar features Czech beer as well as some interesting wines.
