An Atlanta standby, El Azteca has brought affordable and great-tasting Mexican to Atlanta for years. The decor favors most Mexican restaurants, with booths, tables, and a large bar. Outside, the expansive patio is pleasant during fair weather, but can get a little noxious during rush hour as commuters come off nearby GA 400. The great platters are a sure bet, offering mountains of everything from tacos and enchiladas to cheese-laden refried beans and rice.
