Denver's biggest and best brewpub took on an even more esteemed significance in 2003 when owner John Hickenlooper took office as the mayor of Denver. Occupying a renovated warehouse across from Union Station and close to Coors Field, the Wynkoop is one of the country's model microbreweries, and even served as a catalyst for the rebirth of surrounding LoDo.
