Vortex is one of the most unique dining experiences in all of Atlanta. From the stylized skull covering the opening to the long bar inside, even stepping foot inside may cause a visitor pause. Those easily offended may not enjoy their time here, and Vortex isn’t for families or children. Don’t worry too much though - most diners can have a fun time here (if they obey the “rules”). The atmosphere may be rustic, but the food and service is surprisingly good. The menu is full of American signatures, from burgers and shakes to soups, salads and sandwiches.
