This place has not given in to the demands of mass tourism, but has managed to maintain its Tuscan character. This is an old farmhouse, fairly well renovated but which does not attempt to pretend to be something else. The cooking is typically Tuscan farm fare based on the vegetable garden and farmyard animals. The crostini neri di antipasto and meat dishes are excellent indeed. The Tuscan wines are of good quality and at reasonable prices.
