If steak is in the name of your business, you had better be able to deliver the goods. This upscale restauarant has been doing just that for 30 years. Although the la carte menu features steak, it also boasts chicken, lobster and shrimp dishes. Start with an appetizer of barbecue roasted shrimp or jumbo shrimp cocktail. Sautéed mushrooms and a choice of seven different potato offerings are fine accompaniments to any entrée. Your steak, whether it be the 24-ounce New York strip or 40-ounce porterhouse for two, is broiled to your specifications. For smaller appetites, the 14-ounce filet mignon is an excellent alternative. For dessert, the bread pudding with whiskey sauce and the chocolate praline ice cream are favorites. Ruth's features a superb wine and beer list. Cocktails and soft drinks are also available.
