More information on Tanuki's Cave (Yakitori)
Below the Tanuki Sushi and Sake Bar is Tanuki's Cave. This, quite separate establishment, serves up informal Yakitori and Kushiage style food at very reasonable prices. You get a basic Dom Buri skewers of grilled and barbecued meat and vegetables (Yakitori), meat and vegetables dipped in egg and breadcrumbs then cooked in soya oil (Kushiage), can be added. There is a small wine list and lots of Japanese beer and sake on offer, ensuring an interesting and fun night out.
