More information on The Slanted Door
The Phan family originally opened The Slanted Door in 1995 on Valencia Street, but it has since relocated to the Ferry Building at the end of Market Street downtown. Executive Chef Charles Phan has created a Vietnamese menu known for its ecologically-sound choices; it features a blend of traditional technique with local ingredients and is choosy about its food sources. It also features hard-to-find Chinese teas and a great to-go option at their "Out the Door" store around the corner.
