Laura and Leslie Coaston had a dream to create a cafe dedicated to the delicious southern recipes they grew up on. Kingfish Cafe is the realization of that dream -- a friendly, cozy, always busy place in lively Capitol Hill. Sho-Nuff Fried Green Tomatos, Miss Choo Choo's Company's Commin' Rib Eye Steak, and Jazz it Slow Gumbo are just a few of the mouthwatering soulfood dishes you'll find here. Try recipes passed down through generations, or new recipes passionately honed by chef Kenyatta Carter. This is a truly special place in a truly special city.
