Steak is the reason most people go to this restaurant in Old Montreal; Gibby's is a long-time attraction for both tourists and locals out to enjoy an evening meal. The decor is retro, circa 1974, and lends itself well to the nostalgic ambiance. The limited menu includes various cuts and styles of steak in green or black pepper sauce. The service is competent if somewhat curt. They now offer a take away for their pickles as also they are now available in retail stores. Its open from Monday to Friday from 5:30 PM onwards and 5 PM onwards on Saturdays and Sundays. Reservations are a must.Takeaway available.
