Kasalta is a traditional restaurant and bakery showcasing a mix of Spanish, Puerto Rican, and Cuban cuisines. Its quality makes it an outstanding establishment. The décor is unpretentious, cafeteria-style and features a large counter and tables clustered throughout the spacious room. Although an informal atmosphere prevails, you will find celebrities such as San Juan's Mayor having breakfast here on Sunday mornings. Dishes include Caldo Gallego (Galician hearty soup), Cubano sandwich (with pork and cheese), and Spanish Paella. An ample variety of pastries and beverages are also available.
