Located in the northern part of the city in a mainly residential area, this is a modern building that is part of the Spanish quarter, where there are several offices belonging to the Spanish government. This attractive venue is a truly Spanish taverna boasting comfortable facilities decorated with beautiful ornamental plants. It is a large and elegant place visited every day by important business people, amongst other customers, all fans of Spanish food. Visitors are entertained by a wide choice of the best Flamenco music. The Centro Español restaurant offers a wide choice of Spanish cuisine, but its specialty is the suckling pig that is one quarter of a pig, oven-roasted and served with boiled potatoes and salad. Another popular dish is the Spanish tripe, served with chickpeas and chorizo. If you prefer seafood, then there are garlic prawns, along with delicious squid fried in batter. As for beverages, there is sangrÃa of course, and if you have a demanding palate, then there is an ample choice of Spanish and Chilean wines from special reserves. There are also delicious fruit juices and all kinds of soft drinks.
